The Wander Art trail is a unique way to explore and enjoy London outdoors. Curated by Alter-Projects, the series of artworks was created by local, national and international artists and designers. The public art projects range from murals and street furniture to large-scale urban interventions, spread out across the central London neighbourhoods. Face to Face A continuous line travels along the wall and gradually it is possible to perceive an eye, nose, mouth and the silhouette of a face, two faces, or is it the same face from different angles? For those who are familiar with previous works of the Brazilian artist André Mendes, it is not difficult to recognize the characteristics of his trait and colors. In this work of approximately 8,5 meters high we have different possibilities of interpretation depending on the observer's point of view. The yellow and red rounded forms reinforce the idea of three-dimensionality, representing gravity and spatiality, the ground and the sky polarity, bringing movement, tension and depth. A pintura realizada no teto traz uma nova perspectiva para o espaço. Concebido para recriar um ambiente contemporâneo com ênfase no design, como nos lofts modernos de Nova York, o projeto arquitetônico foi todo executado em steel frame (Grupo Adamus) para atender os prazos exíguos da obra e para gerar menos resíduos e desperdícios. Externamente o loft exibe paredes de ripas de concreto e revestimento de bambu natural (Fortiori). O amplo terraço é espaço de contemplação do jardim com uma confortável poltrona Chifruda, assinada por Sérgio Rodrigues. Na área interna, de 60m², o living tem paredes com boiserie e as poltronas Cité, de Jean Prouvé e Grand Repos, de Antonio Citterio, da marca suíça Vitra. Na sala de jantar, as cadeiras também são de Sérgio Rodrigues e a mesa, de Guilherme Torres.
